TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply for the I98 FM’s Monster Trucks – Tour of Destruction
1. Duration
The competition will run from 9am Monday 1st September until 5pm on Friday the 5th September 2008
The competition will run weekdays only.
2. Method of Entry
At random times during the active contest hours i98 FM will play a ‘trucking’ song.
Once the song has gone to air, this is cue for listeners to call through on 4226 9898 to win 2 (two) tickets to the Monster Truck ‘Tour of Destruction’ at Dapto Showground on Saturday, September 20.
3. Draw
As outlined above, once the ‘trucking’ song goes to air, the i98 FM announcer will take a call at random as that contest hour’s minor prizewinner. The announcer’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Each caller that gets through to an announcer will go into the draw to win the overall major prize of a ‘Hero Pack’ as outlined in clause 4 (four) below. This prize draw will take place at random, in the i98fm studios at 3pm on Friday the 5th of September 2008.
4. Prizes
All prize values are recommended retail value provided by the supplier, are in Australian Dollars and are correct at time of printing.
There are ( 20) twenty minor prizes to be won each consisting of the following:
- Two (2) x adult general admission passes to the Monster Truck Spectacular at Dapto Showground on Saturday , 20th September 2008 . Valued at: $ 70.00
Total Value of all minor prizes: Twenty ( 20) Minor Prizes @ $ 70.00 each = $1,400
There is one (1) major prize to be won. The major prize winner must be aged eighteen (18) years or older.
The major prize consists of the following:
- ‘Hero Pack’ Consisting of the following for one (1) person only:
- A lap in ‘Motorstorm’, the baddest Monster Truck in the grand parade in front of thousands of spectators
- Selected Monster Truck merchandise
- A family (two (2) adults and two (2 children) VIP Pass to the event
Value: This is a money cannot buy prize.
The major prize winner will receive the ‘Hero Pack’ major prize as outlined above for the evening of Saturday, 20th September 2008 .
These dates cannot be changed or altered in any way.
i98 FM and KC’s Fireworks Displays Aust Pty Ltd (acting on behalf of Monster Trucks Spectacular) reserve the right to amend, alter or delete any PRIZE in the major prize at any time, if there is deemed a serious risk to the major winner due to, but not limited to, bad weather, ground conditions or otherwise.
The major prize winner MUST be over 18 and will be required to complete and satisfy insurance forms and indemnity forms as supplied by KC’s Fireworks Displays Aust Pty Ltd.
No contestant can win more than (1) one major and minor prize.
All winners of minor prizes will be required to pick up their prize from i98FM reception at Television Avenue, Mt St Thomas, Wollongong, NSW, 2500 during working hours Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm only.
5. Notification
All prizewinners will be notified by announcement ‘on air’ time of winning. Winner’s details will not be published
The m ajor prizewinner will also be notified by telephone.
6. All prizes are not transferable, must be used in conjunction with the terms and conditions outlined on the passes and are not redeemable for cash.
7. Employees and their immediate families of WIN Radio Pty Ltd, WIN Corporation Pty Limited AND ASSOCIATED SPONSORS OF THE PRIZES are ineligible to enter.
- In the event that the winner is found to be ineligible (i.e., under the age of 18), the major prize will not be awarded and a re-draw will occur.
9. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorized intervention, computer virus, mobile phone failures, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of WIN Radio Pty Ltd which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, i98 FM reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel terminate modify or suspend the competition.
10. The Promoter (i98FM) is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems of the phone or of any phone network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's phone related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this competition.
11. The Promoter (i98FM) collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter (i98FM) may use this information to request permission from the entrant to use the information for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the i98FM at Television Avenue, Mt St Thomas, Wollongong, NSW, 2500.
