Renee Criddle:
The Kiama High School girl bestowed with the "Could Talk Under Wet Cement" award graduated as a Dean's Scholar from the University of Wollongong with a BA in Communications/Journalism and English, which included a semester in the United States. She then worked as a journalist for UOW's Media Unit, where she also wrote education pieces for the Illawarra Mercury and was accepted into the coveted Fairfax Media Editorial Traineeship program in Sydney. A few years later she took the plunge into radio...and within months at i98FM had broken several major news stories. Renee's goals include one day understanding the game of cricket and the physics of the chocolate brownie, conquering her fear of moths and perfecting her French to the point where she can present a complete news bulletin "en français." |

Michaela Gray: After years of high school debating, a college captaincy and a stint in theatre Michaela decided she needed a career that would allow her to talk, a lot, and to a lot of people. While studying a BA in Communications majoring in Journalism at the University of Technology Sydney, Michaela dabbled in magazines and at a website company (where she was paid in cosmetics) before finding she had a knack for radio. After volunteering countless hours in community radio with 2SER and 2RDJ she scored an internship at her hometown station C91.3FM, which gave this Macquarie Fields girl her first start in the biz. A transfer to i98FM saw Michaela swap the west for a home on the coast, and a new lifestyle she loves. Michaela's flair for cake making has seen her bake her way to a breakfast news presenting gig. She has since been busy in Wollongong breaking news, learning to speak French and perfecting her hoola-hooping. |

Paul Glover:
Paul studied journalism and writing at Southern Cross University, before learning the ropes in the i98FM and C91.3FM newsrooms. Exemplifying masculinity Paul is keen on both playing and reporting local sport, and he doesn't mind explaining it slowly for the ladies of the newsroom. Paul also boasts an impressive knowledge of Hollywood goss, not at all detracting from his manliness. The comic relief and scapegoat of the newsroom, Paul stays in the good books with his all-female co-workers by always saying no to office cakes. When not covering or breaking the news, Paul is a budding musician whose claim to fame is falling off the stage after a piano performance at the Sydney Opera House. |
